The power of travel

We don't meet people like Columbus anymore. Someone who risked everything to travel and find Newlands. Virgin territories for humanity. Today we are so obsessed with our gadgets, that we are moving away from the real world. We are not travelling enough. We are not aware of our surroundings.  We are not one with nature anymore. I'm worried. Are you?

Plastic world!

We stopped being nomads ten thousand years back... And like stagnant water, our decay started. We formed boundaries that never existed before But we became the prisoners within them We let greed take over and we started finding joy outside us God was within us but we looked outside We became obsessed with winning We started killing for fun We chose to be cruel when we should have chosen to be kind We chose to kill when we should have chosen to collaborate We became a society full of plastic A society that glorified materialism A society that was dying from within A plastic world Will we ever come out of this plastic world? No one knows for sure Let's enjoy the nature what's still left Before we might start paying for the air we breathe We are dying as a race We are killing our own selves by eating junk and filling out minds with junk It's got to stop now We must turn back to nature and become free We must return to innocence For happiness and liberty

Warring for peace?

May seem like an oxymoron but that's exactly what we smart human race is doing. We need to look within ourselves to find light. We are all sinking the planet to depression with our fears, negativity, stress and greed. We were so much happier with little. We lived in the moment. Now we live in insta reels. We are going in the wrong direction as a race in the speed of light with no return  Only God can help us. We are so keen to destroy ourselves. May there be sanity to end suffering and may there be peace and happiness for all humans. Help us God. Bless us with your grace. We need you more than ever. Only you can save us God

I am happy!

I am happy.  Today, even as the world is ravaged by war and violence, God has blessed me with an island of peace and tranquility.  There are so many who are struggling with health issues but God has blessed me with good health. There are so many unhappy people but God has blessed me with Happiness. I'm grateful to God for eternity And I pray that everyone around me also gets the blessings of the almighty.  Let's have a happy planet and live happily. Have a great weekend 🙏

Nature calling!

There is a tiny little compass within us, our conscience, the keeps giving us signals. There are times when it keeps warning us of the dangers of the city life we are living. It gives us hint of being at home when we are in the middle of nature. We are all like tiny parts of the nature we are so foolishly moving away from. And that's why we feel so much at home when we go to these places. We are parts of them - the air, the water, the soil, the fire that makes us us. Not the iphones and fancy toys we are so attached to these days. Let's make it a point to live closer to nature. To breathe pure air. To drink water unadulterated by modernism. To think thoughts that are pure and in tandem with the cosmos. There is a monk within us. Why do we hide him? Why do we not listen to him? We must. Before it's too late!

In pursuit of happiness!

It's strange! In the last 10000 years, humanity has found a zillion ways to consume and plunder this planet. But has not found a single way to find happiness. Everything that we have done as humans is to make us unhappy by desiring for more. More pleasure, more money, money things, more showing off and more disasters We are moving away from the nature. We are consuming food that is more and more artificially processed. We are living in environment which is artificially controlled with ACs. We are trying to create a man made paradise when we still can't create another human What's the point of trying to be god when we are so hopelessly dependent on God for every need of ours? I don't understand I want to be happy. Happy and content. Content to have just enough of everything that will take care of me all of my life. I want to be free. Live life on my own terms and not just be a slave of the society which I have been ever since I'm born. Why? Why can't we choose fr

The inner light!

God has given us all an inner light. We all have a responsibility to use that light to show the path to others who are travelling the journey of life with us, and due to some unfortunate events, are unable to find their own inner light. It is our duty to help them find the inner light. That's what makes us human. We are like candles, the more candles we light the happier we get as a society and we don't lose our light in the process, but get to be part of a brighter world. And, may be at some point in our lives, when we struggle with our light, someone will help us too. Let's glow. Let's light up others around us. Let's live in a paradise on earth. The world is so beautiful with God's grace. Let's enjoy it all together. Happily and with gratefulness in our hearts😊🙏

Are we giving happiness a chance?

The whole universe seems to be conjuring up moments for us to be happy...but are we giving happiness a chance? The birds are singing their songs and the trees are offering us their shade for free, but we are so busy with negative selftalk that we fail to notice it The rivers are giving us free breeze and the oceans are humming their rhythms offering us the joy to take a dip of pure bliss...but we are too worried about getting sunburnt and not being in shape The forests are giving us free adventure trips with the trees and birds and wildlife but we are more focused on the adventures on dating sites We are not giving nature a chance to make us happy. As the famous song says it's time to return to innocence. We must turn back and give life a chance to heal us with its abundance and joy It's our only path to redemption. It's our only path to salvage us from the mess we have got ourselves into As a race we are dying and we are the ones building the coffins to bury us....we expec

Kindness is the new sexy!

Everyday there are soany stories about men getting richer, buying faster cars, marrying prettier models, starting companies from scratch etc etc But what really turns me on are the stories of seasoned men giving back. Giving back to their communities, to their people, to the world. Giving back is the only way to start the karma of getting it back with interest. The universe is like the biggest bank you can think of and what we invest it returns to us with big interest. So people who understand this give freely. Give with their hearts. It's not just money. It's all we have. It could be compassion, love, humility, encouragement, support, smiles, generosity anything.  The reverse is also true...the negatives come back with returns too. So next time you want to send out something to the universe be mindful. You are starting a chain reaction more powerful than the nuclear reaction. Be kind. Be humble. Be good. Afterall all we have is a gift from God and will be gone from us when we

The blindmen and elephant - story of our lives!

I am sure all of us remember the story of blind men and the elephant. How each blind man comes in contact with a part of the elephant and starts thinking the elephant is like a tree, or a snake or a fan etc. I sometimes feel that our life is like that. At every stage in life, we are coming in contact with an aspect of life and we start thinking that this is life. As we grow older and when we have played the roles of all the blind men, we tend to put it all together and start figuring life as a whole. We get the whole picture then. So till we are there, where we are ready to see life in full from every perspective, let's continue to play our role of the blind men and let's have the faith that life itself will reveal to us and we will experience life in full. We will understand the whys and the why nots. We will get answers to all our questions and may be stop questioning the answers we have. We will be truly and fully alive, living life on all engines gunning in full blast. Till

How do we make a positive difference?

An actor I love, Morgan Freeman, has done something unique. He was concerned with the disappearing of bees, hence he has converted his ranch into a giant beehive and has become a beekeeper. So what we may ask? We all have the power to make a positive difference in this world. May be all we can do is say thank you God! And try to make our surroundings a little more livable in the little way we can. It may not do any good. But it won't do any harm either. And it might help us find our IKIGAI. Our purpose to live.  Not a bad tradeoff!

Gratitude is Gold!

There are so many things we all are blessed with that we don't even consider. We focus so much on our pain that we forget the power that helps us and guides us through struggles.  Nothing really belongs to anyone of us. All that we have are a gift from life and will hand back to it as we embrace death. That's the reality for all of us. Everything is temporary including us and things we build forever. There is a force that runs the world that we can't see or feel. But then I can't see atoms but can I deny the existence of atomic bombs? I can't see air but can I deny its existence as I'm breathing in and out? As we start having faith and as we start trusting the unseen forces that guide our lives, let's be grateful. Grateful for everything we have and we don't May be then we will find true eternal peace even as we wait for our friend death to take us away! Thank you God for this life!

Dream and Hope - the fuels of happy societies!

It is said that around 40% of global population will be living in cities soon. This mindless migration in search of opportunities is creating pockets of urban slums in the cities where life is hell. Unless we take care of this population now and include them in the larger scheme of things planned for mankind, we can never sustain ourselves as a healthy population. The worst I feel that these groups of people face is the loss of hope and compassion. The opportunities that can help them and their children live a dignified life seems to be disappearing.  As a community, as a human race, we have to ensure that they don't lose their dignity. We have to help this population keep the faith in humanity. They need to be facilitators and catalysts in our progress and not the sufferers. We are all connected in this great universe. And God wants us to help one another and stay together through think & thin. That's our only hope of survival. That's our Noah's arc bound by the va

Humanity is dying and we are blind to it!

#Osho wanted to create a commune where everyone was welcome from every colour and creed. A commune that has only humans. He tried to build this in the USA but he was ahead of his times and it failed. The time has come to create another such commune that will serve as the modern Noah's arc and save what's precious for humanity. The deluge is coming it's just that we are not seeing it. It's going to drown us all unless we pray and plan and perform the selfless duty of saving all of us. Mankind is in peril. We are all killing each other internally and externally till we are just walking dead like the zombies. We deserve better. We deserve more. I pray to God for sanity of us all. So that we are able to do what's necessary to save us from imminent doom that is engulfing us. God save us from the darkness save us all. You are all we have.

Breathing is not being alive!

We are not dead when we stop breathing. We are dead when we stop living! I see so many people around me having a bright smile but eyes full of sorrow. I feel so sad for them. I can totally empathise with the. For, there are days when I too am one of them. Being honest! But, just like the moon waxes and wanes, just like the seasons change, just like high tide and low tide, we too must change. We must know in our hearts that good times are coming and cheer ourselves.  But, how do we stay happy for longer times? How do we make happiness our true nature? How do we find inner strength to overcome outer adversities without losing peace of mind? There are tons of literature available that helps us attain peace and tranquility but it needs our conviction and courage. The courage to not follow the majority. The courage to be different. The courage to stand alone. The courage to ask for God's help and forgiveness and guidance. The courage to face our fears. I'm sure as Buddha said we all

What is success?

Human beings are obsessed with success. We torture our children to death ruining their childhood to make them successful. Once we grow up, we make ours and the lives of others around us miserable to make them and ourselves successful  What really is success? Is it a big car? Lots of money? Big titles? Big fanfare?  I don't know.  For me success is being able to own my time to do what I feel is right. To be able to make a positive change in the lives of people around me and the communities I am part of. To be able to live life on my own terms. To be able to enjoy the little things in life. To be able to also enjoy the big things in life. By that standard, I am long way to go before I become successful. I am work in progress. Willm get there some day, God willing. 😊

Profound Peace!

Peace. A word that most of us don't make peace with. We fight with ourselves, our surroundings, our destinies, our karma, our relations, our communities to find peace. Peace is there within us. Buried inside all the baggage and trash we carry from the society. Like a ragpicker, we rummage the garbage bins trying to find value. But in the process, we only soil our soul. We all talk about, hear about, write about, fantasise about following our hearts but how many of us really do it? Why don't we? Why do we postpone our quest for peace? Why don't we pray, meditate and be grateful? Why don't we try to reach the source or origin? The place where we all come from and are going there? Let's consciously find peace - breaking the clutter and noise and relish it! And it shall be ours forever!

Is mankind the cancer for the universe?

On Hindu mythology, we believe that there is Brahma the creator, Vishu the sustainer and Shiva the destroyer. Man has been around for more than a million years, however it is only the last 10000 years, where we have really moved ahead of every other species. We have grown and multiplied from 4 billion to 8 billion in less than a 100 years. So are we entering the era where the world will be coming to an end? Are we growing uncontrolled like the cancer cells destroying everything else around us? Are we the ones who are killing ourselves for a new earth to be born? We are in the Kaliyuga as per Hindu mythology. Which is the beginning of the end for the world. Have we reached the end? So that all the development culminates in the end of the world as we know it? And the beginning of a new world? Are we the last of our race to step into the unknown by becoming robots or the terminators as James Cameron portrayed in his movie? Are we headed out to the space to be lost there forever? So many q

This new year, flow!

Water flows. Wind blows. Time flies. Nothing stays stagnant. When they do, things get worse and worse, till forcefully things move causing temporary pain but long term gain. We are all supposed to be flowing, just like the water and air and light. But ever since we have stagnated in one place, figuratively and literally, we have started deteorating. We are losing our natural powers to heal. We are like the stagnated waters that begin to stink. Why? This new year, let's begin to flow and let our destiny guide us to wherever it chooses. Let's be free. Let's be light like the wind so that we get carried away by the winds of our fate. Let's go with the flow. Let's be fluid again. Happy new year! Stay blessed!
