What is success?

Human beings are obsessed with success. We torture our children to death ruining their childhood to make them successful. Once we grow up, we make ours and the lives of others around us miserable to make them and ourselves successful  What really is success? Is it a big car? Lots of money? Big titles? Big fanfare?  I don't know.  For me success is being able to own my time to do what I feel is right. To be able to make a positive change in the lives of people around me and the communities I am part of. To be able to live life on my own terms. To be able to enjoy the little things in life. To be able to also enjoy the big things in life. By that standard, I am long way to go before I become successful. I am work in progress. Willm get there some day, God willing. 😊

Profound Peace!

Peace. A word that most of us don't make peace with. We fight with ourselves, our surroundings, our destinies, our karma, our relations, our communities to find peace. Peace is there within us. Buried inside all the baggage and trash we carry from the society. Like a ragpicker, we rummage the garbage bins trying to find value. But in the process, we only soil our soul. We all talk about, hear about, write about, fantasise about following our hearts but how many of us really do it? Why don't we? Why do we postpone our quest for peace? Why don't we pray, meditate and be grateful? Why don't we try to reach the source or origin? The place where we all come from and are going there? Let's consciously find peace - breaking the clutter and noise and relish it! And it shall be ours forever!

Is mankind the cancer for the universe?

On Hindu mythology, we believe that there is Brahma the creator, Vishu the sustainer and Shiva the destroyer. Man has been around for more than a million years, however it is only the last 10000 years, where we have really moved ahead of every other species. We have grown and multiplied from 4 billion to 8 billion in less than a 100 years. So are we entering the era where the world will be coming to an end? Are we growing uncontrolled like the cancer cells destroying everything else around us? Are we the ones who are killing ourselves for a new earth to be born? We are in the Kaliyuga as per Hindu mythology. Which is the beginning of the end for the world. Have we reached the end? So that all the development culminates in the end of the world as we know it? And the beginning of a new world? Are we the last of our race to step into the unknown by becoming robots or the terminators as James Cameron portrayed in his movie? Are we headed out to the space to be lost there forever? So many q
